Joining the conversation doesn't mean having all the answers or having to ask the right questions. Much of the ideas and interaction here is based around experiencing the One True God for who He says He is rather than what the world says. We are told in First Corinthians that "the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."

When we use the opinions of the world, our culture or societal ideal to illuminate our insights into the reality of our lives, the truths of our existence and our understanding of the Almighty; we trade the wisdom of the Word of God and the Spirit of God for a human perspective of God and his will. The goal of our lives is to know and experience The Lord; sharing from that experience with others, in light of what He has given us.

We are all on our own paths to personal peril until we come to know the saving grace of The Lord through Jesus Christ. If you haven't experienced Jesus in a life-changing way, click here to find out how you can. If you have heard the talk of Jesus or have known about Jesus for a while, but don't experience a greater amount of hope in your day-to-day lives than others that surround you; it might be that you need to spend time experiencing Him directly, rather than second hand accounts of what He has done in someone else's life.

The goal of the conversations that go on here are not to chant down Babylon, apologetically slam non-believers or shun people who don't agree with others; it is an effort to think differently, to engage deeper parts of your heart and to ultimately direct people back to God and what He says about who we are, what we do and how we are to live in response to his grace and provision.
